Thanks to all the the demonstrators who arrived today in Placerville. We locals are used to out of town folks that want to change our lives with out regard to the consequences. Because of the folks who rail against logging, real forest management and demand restricted access to our forest, repeat OUR FORESTS, we live in an enviroment of increased destruction and decreased economic prosperity. So thanks again for your work.

Just a reminder, the people who work in the forests are the people who protect the forests. If you block foresters, timber workers you eliminate the first line of defense against forest fires out of control. If our 4x4 trail seekers are no longer in the woods who will clean up the garbage from the non-ruler followers.

Protect our forests, keep them open to the lovers of out doors.

Thanks again.

Hello, I have reposted this story on Placerville Info http://www.placerville.info/rally_to_save_our_forest_access-19-20-08-15-2007.html with this addition, "Don't let the Sunset on Our Forests. The policy of the Forest Service has shifted from saving the forest for the people to saving the forest from the people. Let them know what you think of that! Speak Out Now or Lose Your Rights. I have also cross posted it to prpond.com

I will be there with a camera to document the story for a follow-up story.

Best wishes, Cris Alarcon, Editor.
