NOTES / COMMENTS

We will have some bottled water, but no food so prepare accordingly

We can’t go public with specific locations of protest. There are 10 locations and they are all within the city limits.

Driving a short distance will be required to get to some/most locations

The Fairgrounds area where we’ll convene is a flat lawn area with very little shade (see “Things to Bring” below). We’ll have 10 picnic tables, 5 Eight foot tables for sign ups and staff use, a very small stage, and a PA system.

THINGS TO BRING

  • * As many people as you can gather
  • * Sun Screen
  • * E-Z-Ups
  • * Camp/Lawn Chairs
  • * Food/Drinks/small coolers
  • * ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL or GLASS CONTAINERS

Groups will be asked to protest for around two hours (maybe a bit more…maybe a bit less based on turn out) and then return to the fairgrounds for letter writing, to receiver information about the closures in the DEIS, sign a petition and more that could come up between now and the event.
